Flavors of Morocco is a restaurant and catering venture passionate about sharing Moroccan cuisine and culture. Starting in Canada, we transitioned to Lancaster, offering a unique Moroccan dining experience. Our success led us to the Southern Market in Lancaster City, where we serve from Wednesday to Sunday. Led by Chef Bushra, our team believes in food's power to build community, guiding patrons through the nuances of Moroccan cuisine with a blend of Moroccan and South Asian spices.

  • Owner, Visionary

    Born and raised in Morocco, Bushra holds a PhD in Physics and worked in HR before immigrating to Canada as a single mother. Passionate about sharing her culture, she initially launched a catering and event business Royal Tagine with her two friends in Canada. After moving to the U.S., Bushra faced challenges but persevered, opening Flavors of Morocco in Lancaster, PA. The pandemic forced her to pivot, leading to a successful outdoor dining experience and a permanent spot at the Southern Market. Today, Flavors of Morocco is a beloved restaurant, that blends Moroccan cuisine and south asian spices. Bushra remains committed to representing and sharing her heritage, supporting women, and expanding her business.
